Hymatic Oy was established in 1991. During The first project it was recognised how many paper handling damages happen due to wrong aligned forklift masts. Therefore "safety and efficiency to lift truck handling" became our motto and we created the first version of Automatic Mast Centralisation System.

The next step was to develop the Fork Distance Measuring System. This product measures the distance between the mast and the pallet. It means, that the user will know, how deep the fork is under the pallet, and will not damage the others pallets behind.

In 1998 we presented the Tilt Indicator which measures the tilt between the mast and the truck. The importance of it is that, during unload, the mast should be in zero degree to avoid the pallets and rolls from damage.

2002 we provided RFID system with software to keep track of transportation units and their service time for shipping company. Product is running well and we are looking forward to have new projects on this field also. Nevertheless, nowadays the claims for the digital version are increasing rapidly. Finally, we decided to turn out an improved digital version of our previous products. We denominated it as the Load Navigator System.

In the beginning of new century the success of the earlier products brought the idea to make a new lift truck aid system, which is called HymaPro. The idea was to make a multifunctional, cost-effective system, which takes advantage of embedded, digital technology. This product was planned to measure several characteristics of the truck, like the angle of the mast, the height of the fork, the weight of the load, the distance between the truck and the pressure on the clamps. Some of these characteristics can be controlled too.

We are relatively small company which makes us open for different new technologies that could be helpful in our work.

Our Personnel had gained experience in several places like Paper factories, harbours, mechanical wood industry, and beverage industry and steel industry among others. We co-operate with various lift truck importers who also can provide new trucks equipped with Hymatic product. We also benefit our location middle of the southern Finland in the city Jyväskylä where we have Univesity with many faculties and IT institute to provide good trainees and personnel if needed also from other EU member countries. We would like to be international company as our products too.
